This notice covers dorados.uk only – the independent information portal you're reading now, not Dorados itself or any account you might hold with the operator. If you go on to register on the operator's own platform, its privacy policy governs that relationship; ours governs this one.
The short version
We collect the ordinary technical data any website gathers – browser type, approximate location, pages viewed – plus whatever you choose to send us through a contact form. Data you hand over vs data we observe
Two categories of information reach dorados.uk. The first is anything you type yourself: a name and email address if you write to [email protected], and the content of your message. Processors and transfers
Some data is handled by third-party processors on our behalf – hosting providers and analytics services, principally. These parties act under instruction; they don't get to use dorados.uk visitor data for their own purposes. Where a processor is based outside the UK, transfers rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
Exercising your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent you previously gave. Retention
We keep contact-form correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your query and to meet our own record-keeping obligations, after which it's deleted. Analytics data is generally held in aggregated or anonymised form once individual identifiers are no longer needed.
Under-18s
dorados.uk is restricted to visitors aged 18 and over (18+). We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact [email protected] and we'll remove it.
Changes to this notice
We may update this policy as our tools or obligations change; the current version always applies, and we'd encourage you to check back occasionally. This version was last reviewed in 2026.
